How to improve traffic if there are not enough roads?
Are you tired out before you even start work because it takes you over an hour to get to the center? What do you think can be done about our transport problems? The first thing is that, I convinced there are too many cars on the roads. Nowadays, cars are increasing dramatically, we can say everyone has one car or even more, because, cars have made our lives more convenient, also the car allows moving freely and there is no need to wait for the bus in the cold or under the rain. But, in the other hand, the more cars, the more troubles. For example, more environmental pollution, agree? The one of the most petty problem is that the increasing number of cars in the streets cause traffic accidents which kill thousands people each year. What is more, traffic jams waste our precious time. And we know better than anyone else how much time costs in the 21st century. I am afraid we cannot find a solution for this increasing problem radically, but we can reduce it. I can say that too many cars is the heart of the problem. We have to reduce the number somehow. But how? There are two ways to solve it, firstly, the government can diminish exporting the cars. Secondly, the people should change their life style, for example, rather than take a car to go to work or school, or if they really need to take the car for any reason they can take friends with them or even better use the bike or walk. But I suppose there are other issues. I think its essential to persuade people to use smaller cars, for example a huge four-wheel car is driven by just one person. Really? Are you kidding me?
What do you hear about on-street parking? Many believe that building even more parking lots is a superb and wise solution. But this is a delusion. The best way out is underground parking: іt is convenient, safe and practical.
Few people worry about environmental pollution, but it applies to everyone. Air pollution is one of the greatest problems of all humanity and the consequences of our behavior are already visible now, such as global warming. Imagine how many cars, buses, motobikes and so on emit harmful substances every minute, and in the not too distant future, there is nothing we can do to improve the situation if we do not start now. We need to start using more environmentally friendly transport. But let's be realistic it will be too expensive.
If you think about solving problems at a romantic point of view, we need to use flying cars. Cool? We won´t need to build roads or parking lots as everyone will be able to travel above ground rather than on the ground, and for what parking lots there are millions levels up to the sky. But jokes aside, we live in a real world with real problems. The world needs to be changed by ourselves. So, let's walk, ride a bike or take a bus rather than use a car just for going to the store to buy a jacket.

Fixing traffic problems? There are quite many ways to do that
First of all, i'd like to begin with the most obvious choice there is, and that's building more roads of course. It's a really simple and predictable solution, as well as one of the most pricy one's. In order to stop traffic problems you'd have to build a lot of roads, and i mean a lot. Yet as i see it - it's one of the best solutions that does not enforce anything new upon us. Even now, hundreds, thousands, maybe even ten thousands of roads are being built all over the world as cars had become one of the most popular ways of travel. Roads are practically everywhere, in the poorest of countries and in the furthest of places, maybe except for Earths Poluses, though you can never know. It could also be possible to make huge underground passages, which is even more expensive than the orginal but far more conservative at the same time. So in conclusion as i said earlier i see this solution as the simplest one to pull off, but not cheap at all, plus the various roads and highways aren't exactly good for the nature around us.
Second of all, reducing the popularity of various cars, replace it with something. In my own opinion the best choice would be flight. Again, it's a quite obvious choice - various aerial transport does not require roads to move, it moves straight through the skies. Some could argue that it's not the safest way of traveling, i myself have heard (and seen in the news and internet) of various scary crashes, and many films take inspiration of such events as well which makes the picture even worse. But i doubt anyone could argue that cars have taken less lives than planes. Maybe if everyone used planes as often as we use cars nowdays that would be true, but i still see aircraft as a superior and a tad more expensive alternative. I think of it as an close alternative or a synonyme to flying cars from the future, which are a cliche used in the older sci-fi comics and movies.
Last but not least, special vehicles created just for that, it might sound a bit sci-fi, but i see it as a bigger possibility of such thing happening instead of for example the same flying cars i mentioned earlier for once. For example, specialized transport units (large buses, trains, cars etc) that move at high speeds on the very same roads (Maybe built with rails i don't know) and working like your usual bus - but controlled by a robot that moves on a strict schedule created specifically not to interfere with any other of such machines, this of course means that (at least most) cars will be removed/scrapped as they will interfere with such "Trains"/"Buses", It's like a train but better, hence robots complete their tasks dot to dot perfectly, then again i don't see this as a cheap alternative, hell it might be even one of the most expensive ones, such a replacement would also mean that all of the roads would have to removed/reworked all over again, which is double as expensive. I see this alternative as the least possible to happen. I'm finished here.
(I apologize in advance if i've misplaced my work, but i couldn't exactly understand what you have meant by "on an A4 piece" so i've decided to follow my classmates lead and send it here.)

I can confidently say that the larger a city, the greater its complexity and the potential for disruptions, particularly when this complexity is not effectively managed. Urban productivity is highly dependent on the efficiency of its transport system to move labor, consumers, and freight between multiple origins and destinations. Still, they are also contributing to a specific array of challenges. Some challenges are ancient, like congestion, while others are new like urban freight distribution or environmental impacts. There are a lot of transport problems in every city. Such as traffic jams, a parking place, a lot of cars in the city, a bad public transport. We need to understand how we can decide it all. Maybe, plenty of problems are connected with a mutual respect between drivers. In my point of view, the traffic congestion in many cities around the world is severe. One possible solution to this problem is to impose heavy taxes on car drivers and use this money to make public transport better. But at the same time the solution has the benefits and drawbacks. One of the first benefits of such a measure is that the heavy taxes would discourage car owners from using their cars because it would become very expensive to drive. This would mean that they would begin to make use of public transport instead, thus reducing traffic problems and pollution as well. Another benefit could be that much more people would be using a public transport if it was improved. It is often the case that public transport in cities is very poor. For example, we often see old buses and trains that people would rather not use. High taxes would generate enough money to make the necessary changes, help to create more ramps for people with disabilities. Nevertheless, there are drawbacks to such a solution. First and foremost, this would be a heavy burden on the car drivers. At present, taxes are already high for a lot of people, and so further taxes would only mean less money at the end of the month for most people who may have no choice but to drive every day. Since vehicles spend the majority of the time parked, motorization has expanded the demand for parking space. Congestion and parking are also interrelated since street parking consumes transport capacity, removing one or two lanes for circulation along urban roads. Further, looking for a parking space creates additional delays and impairs local circulation. The time spent looking for a free or low cost parking space is compensated by the monetary savings. Parking also impairs deliveries as many delivery vehicles will double-park at the closest possible spot to unload their cargo. The solution can be to create underground or roof parking. And if some structure is building, it’ll be a good idea to think about creating a parking here. Identifying the true cause of transport problems is a strategic issue for urban planning since the problems are commonly the outcome of specific circumstances such as the lack of parking or poorly synchronized traffic signals. It is possible only the government can solve all these problems.

We can't imagine our day without transport. How to get to work, study, meet friends? 80% of us do it through transport. Transport simplifies our lives, people feel comfortable in their car. However, there are two sides to the coin. Transport causes a lot of noise, traffic jams. In the city where I live, Rivne, there are too many cars. This is not a big city and that's why I think that the number of cars here exceeds the norm. In my opinion, the best way to travel around the city is to walk. When you walk, you do not depend on any mode of transport. You can admire the beauty of buildings and landscapes. Аnd walking along the streets, you can go where you like. These are all benefits. But, of course, the inconvenience of walking is the time you spend on them. If you do not have enough time and you are in a hurry, it is better to use any form of public transport. Therefore, in my opinion, it is necessary to increase the number of public transport: buses, streetcars, and in large cities - the subway. The better organized public transport, the higher the level of its rolling stock, the less time the transfers take, the more often people travel by public transport. But of course when a person has his own car, she will not use public transport. In my opinion, it would be great if the authorities drafted a law stating that only one car was allowed per family, whether it was a large family or a small one, and the number of cars on the city's roads decreased. After all, today parents who have the opportunity to buy a car for almost every child. In the early stages it would be outrageous, but later people got used to it. Another problem is the small number of parking spaces. As a result, cars are parked in inconvenient places not only for pedestrians but also for themselves. This may cause an accident. So the logical solution is to increase the number of parking spaces. Another problem is the large number of accidents. One of the causes of accidents is the poor quality of roads. Allocation of money from the state budget is the only solution to this problem for me.
Also a good bonus would be the creation of a safe cycling structure and pedestrian infrastructure. This opens up more possibilities than it seems at first glance. It will become a tradition and help to lead a healthy lifestyle. In many European cities, the authorities guard streets where there is no traffic. This would reduce noise on some streets and people could rest not only from their problems but also from traffic noise.

The world is changing fast. Cities are growing and urban population is rising. The need for transport of people are increasing. The number of private cars is increasing in cities. The city of Rivne is no exception. This is the cause of the problems. Traffic jams in the morning, afternoon and evening on all city streets.Parks and forests are being cut down for new roads. Road accidents, injuries and deaths on the roads are becoming more frequent. Cars are also dangerous because they have a negative impact on the environment. I think these are huge problems that humanity has to deal with. We need more mobility, but we have to do it in a smarter way. People need to think about the future. In my opinion, European experience can help us solve these problems. First of all, we need to reduce the use of private transport. That is, do not use it unnecessarity. For example, to go to the store on foot, to walk to a restaurant or a cinema, not necessarily to go there by car. Second, we need to develop alternative modes of transport such as bicycles or rollerblades. You can also increase travel on public transport. Of course it's not as comfortable as traveling by car but it's much cheaper. I also think that modern electric cars will help solve the problems of environmental pollution. The future is electric cars - zero emission and low noise. These actions, for my opinion, will help us solve road problems and save the environment.

p.62 (В)
