People can do everything to live comfortable and be provided with all things they need, not worrying about the influence on environment and lives of next generations. Due to increase of population there is an industrial waste problem which causes the pollution of environment. This makes the hygienic condition worse and involves spreading of many epidemical diseases. Rubbish dumps harm soils and underground water owing to the pollution by toxic substances. Application of chemical substances in daily use is also a powerful source of pollution of places of residence. There are thousands of substances used every day which are potentially harmful for nature. They include ingredients of cosmetics, creams, shampoos, washing powders, paints and even medical products. These factors affect the Earth and are one of the reasons of changes in the environment.

Role play The tree is pure air and beauty. Plant trees, I consider the best way to save the planet. Because the trees are beneficial, they clean the contaminated air. Without them impossible people could not live on the planet. Without trees there would be no shelter for beasts, reptiles, birds. Trees together maintain the purity and balance of the environment. They do not let the mud and rivers and springs, fertile lands protect against drywall and black storms. Also, trees are useful for storing soil fertility. The average tree size per day can give enough oxygen for 4 people. They maintain our air clean, reduce noise, improve the quality of water, prevent soil erosion, provide food and building material, create a shadow and help make the landscape beautiful. Forests are a "factory" of oxygen, critics are encouraged to stay more often in the fresh air, especially in the woods, because there is an area that is saturated with oxygen due to these "green friends". trees bring benefits to people, so we have to plant many trees. Also, people have to think over the deforestation and how it hurts us and the planet.

I am thinking that the best way to help save Earth is planting trees. They is most important for us, because trees provide us with clean air, and remove harmful substances in it. Without them, people would not be able to live on the planet. Maybe through them and there is life on our planet. Trees are green lungs of the world. The forest feeds us with tasty berries and mushrooms, enchants and heals. But we do not always answer him reciprocally, but rather destroy the forest wealth. Therefore, it is necessary to join the planting of the forest. Even one tree can help the planet. Moreover, this case is not difficult and it can be joined by both adults and children. Every year such campaigns are held. And in my school there was a planting of the forest. We helped the planet and at the same time spent fun time together. So do not be lazy to plant a tree, because it's possible that you will once come to the woods and you will be proud of yourself, because you will know that there is also a part of you in it. TREES are ours ALL!!!!

Role play - C "Ending Fossil-Fuel Use"
Nowadays, we absolutely understand that many of the resources that nature provides us are not unlimited. Its repeated use is not beneficial for the planet and leads to conflicts. So, I think ending fossil-fuel use is the best way to help save Earth. Let’s find out some reasons why. Some scientists say that in a year the human being consumes what nature has taken a million years to produce. For example, if we continue at this rate of oil consumption, it is estimated that in about 100 years all the reserves of this fossil fuel will have been exhausted. The burning of fossil fuels causes a greater emission of CO2 which causes an excess of temperature or global warming that has as a consequence the known climate change. The main deposits of fossil fuels are concentrated in very specific places on the planet. The control and exploitation of these deposits is the cause of conflicts and wars. So, if we want to save our planet, we should use more of renewable energy. This type of energy has the following advantages. Firstly, Elimination of local atmospheric emissions, especially in urban environments, that cause serious health problems. Secondly, Noise reduction, because electric cars don’t produce noise. Thirdly, using of renewable energy reduce the country’s energy dependence on other countries. So, the only way to save the planet and its natural diversity is the use of renewable, not fossil-fuel energy.

Role play
I think eating less meat is one of the most efficient ways to help save Earth.
1) Animal husbandry causes a lot of problems, particularly climate change that threatens all living creatures. Industrial farms are the objects of high ecological danger. Even transport, energetic and industry have less impact on environment than animal farms.
2) Also, stockbreeding causes accumulation of hard metals and nutrients in the soils which leads to fertility reduction and contraction of the number of agricultural lands. About half of the excess phosphorus occurs through industrial livestock production.
3) Meat products are the reason of increasing the probability of cancer. Exclusion of them from daily menu reduces mortality caused by cardiovascular diseases. Scientists have researched that using more vegetables in food improve the health status.
Of course, it’s difficult to achieve good results for our Earth if only a few people will lead a healthy lifestyle including eating less meat and more vegetables. But nowadays this tendency is becoming more and more popular and I believe this problem will be ended very soon. It doesn’t mean we have to refuse eating meat at all, but if we are worried about our health and our environment we have to take measures.
Planting trees, ending fossil fuel use and countryside living are also important ways we shouldn’t exclude. But these ways in turn may not depend on us. Not all of us are able to embody them. But if it’s possible, for example, to plant a tree we are responsible for doing it. Countryside living is a good way for people’s life, but I don’t think that it is good for environment when everyone will move from cities to villages. It will likely trigger an environmental crisis as there just will not be enough land to go round for everyone to live the "good life".

Role play. Role A - Sleep
Everybody knows that sleep is really important for good health. Sleep is an important part of your daily routine. A clear brain allows us to focus, learn and remember information, and to be creative. On the other hand, when we're sleepy, we make more mistakes and are less productive at university and at work. I think sleep is the best thing for improving cognitive performance. Firstly, during sleep the brain remains active, gets recharged, but still controls many body functions including breathing. Secondly, sleep is among the most critical factors for peak performance, memory, productivity, immune function and mood regulation. Thirdly, sleep also helps us synthesize new ideas, not just remember the old ones. While you're sleeping, pieces of knowledge can be pulled together from different experiences and parts of the brain to create novel concepts. That's a big help when you're trying to solve a problem or make an advance in your work. However, if you want to improve your cognitive performance it’s necessary to have a good sleep, do special exercises and studying!

Speaking
The best things for improving cognitive performance are studying and sleep. When you study you not only learn a new one, but and acquire the necessary skills and train memory. A healthy sleep is a guarantee of your success. The dream is very useful. It is obligatory for the rest of the brain, because he is responsible for mental activities. The least improve cognitive performance are exercise and diet. Of course, they will help you support the form, but do not develop mentally. It is my opinion.
Role play
I think, that the best thing for improving cognitive performance is sleep. Firstly, the right dream is a rest for our brain, as well as memory improvement. Only the right dream, because if a person sleeps too much, or too little of it is reflected in our health and well-being. Second, having a good sleep, any work, even the most difficult one, will work for us. Because if you are sluggish you absolutely do not want to do anything and even more so download new information in his head. Thirdly, even a short sleep improves memory and ability to study. 20-30 minutes contribute to impraing long-term memory and cognitive abilities. So sleep very important!!! Less important is physical exercises. Exercises will help in the event that they will be mental. The constant performance of them will be able to improve cognitive effect. The worst things for improving cognitive performance are diet and exam success. I believe that they do not increase mental activities. Probably success will motivate you and work more on yourself, so that he will be repeated more than once. The diet only helps to slim. So THE SLEEP is MORE THAN!!!

Role play As for me, exercise is the best thing for improving cognitive perfomance. Especially if it's not excerises like physical but excercise for brain. There are lots of different techniques in the world with the same purpose - improving memory, reasoning and attention. The best time to begin improve these three factors of cognition is childhood. Children's brain is much more flexible than adult's one. So, it's fact that our brain is like muscle I mean it can be in a good shape if you make enough affort to improve your mental activiy. Moreover, it's not a good idea to forget about sleep and proper nutrition. Human's brain and body need to have at least 7-8 hours of sleep. And for brain the best products are nuts and fish, which has a lot of phosphorus, fresh juices, fruits and vegedables. I think the least effective is exam success. Firstly, it's true if we are talking about exam success as a mark, because mark can't help improve our cognitive perfomance. But in the process of prepearing to an exam we need to recall a lot of information, so it helps to exercise our memory

Role play I think sleep is the best thing for improving cognitive perfomance. Firstly, A healthy and strong sleep is your success. I think everyone knows that sleep is really important for good health, because if you are tired then you do not want anything at all. Secondly, when you sleep resting not only you, even your brain, and this helps your memory, you will be more calm and easy to memorize. When you're tired, it's hard for you to concentrate on learning and work, but when you rest to concentrate it will be easier for you. Thirdly, a bad sleep, hurts our health, and now it's the most important thing, there will be no health will be nothing. So, sleep is an important part of your daily routine. Next, I think the diet is also good thing for improving cognitive perfomance. Because nuts have a very good effect on our memory. If you use a little bit of nuts every day, it will improve your memory. But still sleep is the best thing for improving cognitive perfomance. As a result, you need to do everything for a better result.

Irregular verbs on P293 - FROM "Get" to "Lie"PRESENT simple & Present Continuous
(more examples can be found HERE: CLICK ME)
Present simple
1: We use the present simple when something is generally or always true. • People need food. • It snows in winter here. • Two and two make four. 2: Similarly, we need to use this tense for a situation that we think is more or less permanent. • Where do you live? • She works in a bank. • I don't like mushrooms. 3: The next use is for habits or things that we do regularly. We often use adverbs of frequency (such as 'often', 'always' and 'sometimes') in this case, as well as expressions like 'every Sunday' or 'twice a month'
Do you smoke? I play tennis every Tuesday. I don't travel very often.
4: We can also use the present simple for short actions that are happening now. The actions are so short that they are finished almost as soon as you've said the sentence. This is often used with sports commentary, or in demonstrations. • He takes the ball, he runs down the wing, and he scores! • First I put some butter in the pan and turn on the cooker. Future Uses 5: We use the present simple to talk about the future when we are discussing a timetable or a fixed plan. Usually, the timetable is fixed by an organisation, not by us. • School begins at nine tomorrow. • What time does the film start? • The plane doesn't arrive at seven. It arrives at seven thirty. 6: We also use the present simple to talk about the future after words like ' 'when', 'until', 'after', 'before' and 'as soon as'. These are sometimes called subordinate clauses of time. • I will call you when I have time. (Not 'will have'.) • I won't go out until it stops raining. • I'm going to make dinner after I watch the news. Conditional Uses 7: We use the present simple in the first and the zero conditionals
If it rains, we won't come. If you heat water to 100 degrees, it boils.
Simple present tense with 'be' The verb 'be' is different from the other verbs in this tense. Let's look at 'be' first:
Here's the positive form (positive means a normal sentence, not a negative or a question. This is sometimes called 'affirmative') Positive I am you are he is she is it is we are they are
Next, here's the negative. It's very easy. You only add 'not'. Negative I am not you are not he is not she is not it is not we are not they are not And finally let's talk about the question form of the present simple with 'be'. Firstly, here's the 'yes / no' question form: Yes / No Questions am I ? are you ? is he ? is she ? is it ? are we ? are they ?
If you'd like to make a 'wh' question, you just put the question word at the front: Wh Questions where am I ? what are you ? why is he ? who is she ? when are we ? how are they ?
With all other verbs, we make the present simple in the same way.
The positive is really easy. It's just the verb with an extra 's' if the subject is 'he', 'she', or 'it'. Let's take the verb 'play' as an example: Positive (of 'play') I play you play he plays she plays it plays we play they play • Don't forget the 's'! Even really advanced students do this! • For a few verbs, there is a spelling change before the 's'. For example, 'study' becomes 'studies'.
• There are also few verbs which are irregular in the present simple: 1. 'have' becomes 'has' 2. 'do' becomes 'does' 3. 'go' becomes 'goes'
To make the negative form, you need to use 'do not' (don't) or ' does not' (doesn't). Negative (of 'play') I do not play you do not play he does not play she does not play it does not play we do not play they do not play
How about the question form of the present simple tense? We use 'do' or 'does' before the subject to make the 'yes / no' question: Yes / No questions do I play ? do you play ? does he play ? does she play ? does it play ? do we play ? do they play ?
Present Continuous The present continuous (sometimes called the present progressive) tense in English is really easy to make and is the same for all verbs. We make it using the present simple of 'be' + verb-ing Here is how we make the positive: Positive I am sleeping you are sleeping he is sleeping she is sleeping it is sleeping we are sleeping We can make the negative by adding 'not': Negative I am not sleeping you are not playing he is not reading she is not working it is not raining we are not cooking they are not listening
Questions are also really, really easy. Just like we made the question with 'be' in the present simple, here we also put 'am', 'is', or 'are' before the subject to make a 'yes / no' question: Yes / No Questions am I eating chocolate ? are you studying now ? is he working ? is she doing her homework ? is it raining ? are we meeting at six ? are they coming ?
For 'wh' questions, just put the question word at the front: Wh Questions Why am I eating chocolate ? What are you studying now ? When is he working ? What is she doing ? Why is it raining ? Who are we meeting ? How are they travelling ? Using the Present Continuous
1: First, we use the present continuous for things that are happening at the moment of speaking. These things usually last for quite a short time and they are not finished when we are talking about them. • I'm working at the moment. • Please call back as we are eating dinner now. • Julie is sleeping.
2: We can also use this tense for other kinds of temporary situations, even if the action isn't happening at this moment. • John's working in a bar until he finds a job in his field. (He might not be working now.) • I'm reading a really great book. • She's staying with her friend for a week. Compare this with the present simple, which is used for permanent situations that we feel will continue for a long time. • I work in a school. (I think this is a permanent situation.) • I'm working in a school. (I think this is a temporary situation.) 3: We can use the present continuous for temporary or new habits (for normal habits that continue for a long time, we use the present simple). We often use this with expressions like 'these days' or 'at the moment'. • He's eating a lot these days. • She's swimming every morning (she didn't use to do this). • You're smoking too much. 4: Another present continuous use is for habits that are not regular, but that happen very often. In this case we usually use an adverb like 'always', 'forever' or 'constantly'. Often, we use the present continuous in this way to talk about an annoying habit. • You're forever losing your keys! • She's constantly missing the train. • Lucy's always smiling! Future Uses 5: The next use is for definite future arrangements (with a future time word). In this case we have already made a plan and we are pretty sure that the event will happen in the future. • I'm meeting my father tomorrow. • We're going to the beach at the weekend. • I'm leaving at three. We can't use this tense (or any other continuous tense) with stative verbs.

Role play Sleep When we sleep too little or too much, it disrupts the brain and may increase its age for up to seven years. Six-eight hours of sleep help us to maintain cognitive abilities such as thinking, reaction, vocabulary.Quality and amount of sleep are very important for the functioning of the human body and good health. During sleep, there are many vital processes. But the brain at night normally functions only when the dream lasts more than 7 hours. So, a complete sleep is needed to restore the brain and all its functions, as well as its health in the future.Underutilization reduces the efficiency of work.Lack of sleep makes us annoying and aggressive. At the same time, no matter how hard day, no matter how difficult it is, the dream helps to restore strength, improves mood, returns the belief in itself and an optimistic view of the world.
